ABOUT ME

Graduating from Jackson State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design laid the foundation for my creative career, where my designs and strategic social media campaigns have significantly amplified brand presence and engagement. At Morris & Dewett, our team increased Instagram and Facebook followings by unprecedented percentages, leveraging both organic content and collaborative efforts to boost brand awareness.

My recent experience as a Musician with DreamCrew Entertainment involved not only touring but also designing merchandise and creating engaging visual content, showcasing my ability to adapt and innovate in dynamic environments.

With a passion for creative ideation and social media management, I am committed to continuing to develop compelling content that resonates with audiences and drives meaningful interactions.

THE JOURNEY

Throughout my career during and fresh out of college, I've had opportunities to grow tremendously as both a professional and a person. Being put in different situations has made me immersed in that particular environment, further developing my skill set. Here are all of the positions that I've held.

MUSICIAN

January 2024 - April 2024
DreamCrew Entertainment

  • Toured the United States and performed musical selections with artists Drake, J. Cole, Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, and Sexyy Red at all concerts for the "BIG AS THE WHAT?" Tour
     

  • Designed merch for crew members of the tour and created personal flyers/videos

SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING SPECIALIST

December 2022 - April 2024

Morris & Dewett Injury Lawyers

  • Managed social media channels and created organic content using graphic design, photography, and videography
     

  • Increased Instagram following by 595%, Facebook by 1700%, and overall engagement by 1400% in one year using both paid and organic methods
     

  • Implemented short-form video, developed a soft rebrand, and collaborated with other organizations to increase community outreach and brand awareness

  • Created marketing graphics, ads, GIF assets, and short-form videos for social media channels to promote the benefits of "The Plug" and investment information
     

  • Interacted with various content across all channels to go viral and increase brand awareness in which I’ve amassed multiple 10k+ liked viral comments

  • Developed "Family Kits" for less fortunate families in Columbia in order to provide basic necessities while promoting the bond within families

  • Designed a new logo and branding materials for the "Family Kits" through print and social media in order to raise awareness

  • Worked within the Texas Athletics Content Development and Delivery unit to execute graphic design content for the Longhorns

  • Created graphics to support ticket sales, fund development growth, and general fan messaging

Sonic Boom of the South

  • Developed graphic design projects for the Sonic Boom of the South social media platforms
     

  • Worked used in fan engagement posts, helping to make the Sonic Boom’s digital audience one of the largest among marching bands in the nation

Oxford Pennant

  • Collaborated with the special projects team at Oxford Pennant to create designs for camp flags, pennants, and banners inspired by the Sonic Boom of South marching band

  • The goal was to create eye-catching memorabilia for fans, current members, and alumni of the Sonic Boom to purchase and display with pride
